Indexes and Counters: Reliable Data for Flow Meters
An index or counter is essential for visualizing measurement data in turbine and rotary flow meters. Mechanical counters, such as the S- and M-series, provide visual readouts and are equipped with a reed switch for pulse transmission. While traditionally effective, this system may be less suitable for advanced applications requiring reverse flow detection and tamper protection. For greater precision, high-frequency inductive proximity switches can be used, ideal for accurate measurements and control.

EK205 Volume converter
Battery powered VC for standard gas measuring applications.
With pulses from the flow meter, the measured temperature and pressure the Volume in Normal conditions is calculated (EN12405).
If the pressure is constant a choice can be made to only compensate for temperature with the EK205T.
Built in data logging function, serial interface and external communication.
