Honeywell Magnetic Flow Sensors
Magnetic flow transmitters, also known as magnetic inductive flow meters, are suitable for measuring the flow rate of (somewhat) electrically conductive liquids. They are widely used for (waste) water and dissolved chemicals. These sensors cannot be applied for oil, gases and demineralized water. The advantage of an (electro) magnetic flow transmitter (EMF) is that it has no moving parts, a straight measuring tube without restriction and that it is available in very small and very large diameters. Honeywell provides several models, with different types of converters, which can be mounted either directly on the sensor or remote.
